Registered Patent Agent as of 3/1/210, Registration Number 66,137
INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
– At Northrop Grumman Aerospace System, I was responsible for developing complex electro-optical and communication systems for airborne applications, in a multi-disciplinary environment. My duties include system engineering, proposal development, cost and schedule tracking, subcontractor management and customer interface.
– At Boeing, I was responsible for developing the integration & test plan for the TSAT communication system. I was responsible for system analysis, design and development of aircraft-to-spacecraft free space optical communication terminals, including adaptive optics. Involvement included proposal development, customer interface subcontractors and subcontractor management. Earlier, as the Optics IPT Lead for the Space based Laser Programs, led a team of engineers and scientists from Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, TRW and the Government to perform cost/risk/technical performance trade analysis and to prepare plans for alignment and diagnostics.
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
– As an assistant professor of Physics at University of Toledo, Ohio, I taught courses graduate and undergraduate courses in Physics, lasers and Optics. I also conducted independent research in nonlinear optics, and published the results in a major technical journal.
EDUCATION
– Ph.D. (Physics) University of Southern California (Electrical Engineering Minor)
